Who can play music at my venue?

There’s no limit to how many team members can access your Place — just invite them with the appropriate Roles.

Music playback is available for Owner, Administrator, Media Manager, and Player roles. Only one device can act as the player at a time.

Tip: As an Owner, you can pre-select which stations are available to your team by adding them to My Music.

Team members can play music from any device — PC, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

To use your own device as the player:

  1. Open the Moodby platform or app.

  2. Click the device icon next to the player.

  3. Select your device in the pop-up window — done!

All users with access to your Place can also manage music remotely: switch stations, pause or skip tracks, and handle guest requests even when away from the player device.
