# Roles and permissions on Moodby

You can manage your **Place** alone or together with your team.

As an **Owner** or **Administrator**, you can invite new members and assign them roles that define how they interact with your venue’s music. Once you create a Place, you automatically become its **Owner** with full control.

Here are the available roles:

- **Administrator** – same rights as the **Owner**, except payment management.
- **Media Manager** – controls the venue’s sound: skips or blocks tracks, manages guest orders, and handles station subscriptions.
- **Player** – plays music through their device and can skip tracks.
- **Staff Member** – remotely controls playback (Play, Pause, Skip) but can’t use their own device as a Player.
